Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

Planna+ is made and published by Stryvn Technology (“Stryvn”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an independent Australian software company. Planna+ helps you plan and budget for things like a birthday, holiday, renovation, wedding or the weekly groceries, and it is built to be private by design.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Planna+ apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac (the “app”) and this website at plannaplus.stryvn.tech (the “site”). It applies to Stryvn as the developer of Planna+. It does not cover Apple's handling of your information through the App Store, iCloud or your Apple Account, which is governed by Apple's own policies.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information about you through Planna+. There is no Planna+ account to create: you don't give us an email address, a password, a name or a profile to use the app. Because there is no account and no server of ours behind the app, there is no account database of ours that could be breached.

The plans, categories, items, estimates, actual costs, dates and notes you create in Planna+ are stored on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). If you enable it, that content syncs across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud (see section 4). We do not run servers that receive or store your plan data, and we cannot see, access or read the content you create.

If you contact us directly — for example by emailing us, or by using the support form on this site — we receive the details you choose to send (such as your name, email address and message) so that we can reply and help you. We use that information only to respond to your enquiry, and we do not use it for marketing or sell it to anyone.

3. Purchases

Planna+ offers optional in-app purchases to unlock Planna+ Pro. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Payment, billing and any payment details are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy — we never receive or see your card number, billing address or other payment details.

To unlock the right features, Planna+ receives only anonymous entitlement information from Apple — essentially whether an active subscription or lifetime purchase exists on your Apple Account. This status is not linked by us to your identity and is used solely to unlock the features you've paid for.

4. iCloud sync

iCloud sync is optional. If you are signed into the same Apple Account on more than one device with iCloud enabled, Planna+ can sync your plans across those devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). When enabled, your data is stored in your private iCloud database and moves between your own devices through Apple's infrastructure. That data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and your iCloud settings, not by us — we never receive a copy. You can turn iCloud off for Planna+ at any time in your device's system settings.

5. Analytics, advertising and tracking

Planna+ contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, cross-app trackers or marketing tools. We do not build profiles of you, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your information — because we don't collect it in the first place.

6. Data retention and deletion

You control your data. Because your content lives on your device and (optionally) in your own iCloud, you can edit or delete items, categories and whole plans at any time from within the app. To remove everything, you can delete the app from your devices and, if you used iCloud sync, delete the associated Planna+ data from your iCloud storage in your device's system settings. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete the correspondence we hold by contacting us at the address below.

7. Children

Planna+ is a general-audience planning and budgeting app and is suitable for all ages. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, this holds true for users of every age.

8. Security

Your plan data is protected by the security of your own device and by Apple's built-in protections, including device passcode or biometric locks and, where you use it, the encryption Apple applies to iCloud data. This website is served over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but keeping your content on your device and in your own iCloud — rather than on servers of ours — minimises the ways it could be exposed.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the Australian Privacy Principles, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information a business holds about you, and to object to its sale. Because we do not collect or hold personal information about you through Planna+, in most cases there is little for us to disclose, correct or delete — and we never sell personal information. 10. International users

Stryvn Technology is based in Australia, and Planna+ is available in many countries through the App Store. Your plan data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, so it is not sent to us or transferred internationally by us. Any email you send us may be processed in Australia. By using the app or contacting us, you understand that your enquiry may be handled in Australia.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Planna+ evolves or as legal requirements change. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Your continued use of Planna+ after an update means you accept the revised policy.
